#1503 fixed SSH xpra start on remote host Denis01 Denis01

you are right, let's attack this issue at another ticket. This problem has nothing to do with balancing and let me to make all my comments more structured :-)

So just a simple test (py script in the attach file) which will explain better the situation. 1)Paramico module should be installed before (in the comments inside the script how do that for Centos) 2) inside the script command string for "xpra start..) ip_server, user name and login of Linux for the user under whom the script should be performed

First test. It needs to start in Terminal.

python session.py 1

The session is created and then

python session.py 2

Port is open as well and everything is fine

Second test Firstly the session from previos test should be killed

killall xpra

python session.py 3

Session is open but port is closed!!! The idea is that if and session creation and connection are done from the same script (Python process or session - don't know how to say better) Proxy can't connect the client to back-end session

#1506 invalid Version. 2.1. Session start and Socket availability Denis01 Denis01

Seems that there are issues with sessions' start. And from Terminal commands and from PY scripts.

  • session is started but port is closed (even after 20 secs of waiting)
  • Proxy can't connect due to
    "File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/xpra/net/protocol.py", line 993, in steal_connection
assert not self._closed, "cannot steal a closed connection"
AssertionError: cannot steal a closed connection"
  • other messages like
Xpra: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :4.
(gedit:3970): Gdk-WARNING **: gedit: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :4.
#1517 fixed cannot concatenate 'str' and 'tuple' objects Denis01 Denis01

Error occurs (session is stopped. Browser gets back to authorisation login screen) then open the dropbox menus( Upper file menu or right button click) and moving mouse pointer inside the menu. But it is possible to reconnect to the session again. No lost of information
