Hello,
I have some troubles when I use the exe xpa-launcher.exe on Windows 10. xpa.exe works very well but I would like to launch directly a .session file and the only way I find is to associate the .session file with the xpra-launcher.exe
The two versions seems the same for the xpra.exe/connect and the xpra-launcher.exe
3.0.2
Python 3.8, 64bit

using Cython 0.29.14 gcc (Rev2, Built by MSYS2 project) 9.2.0 Thanking you by advance.

The buttons aren't ok and the window with xpra-launcher is completly transparent, no return of the server.

The Xpra exe
installer should setup the file association for you.

Which two versions? (full version details please) I see two launcher windows in your screenshot, what are they? This may be related to r24433. I'm not seeing any problems so maybe this is already fixed with the newer GTK libraries, r24572 may prevent this from happening in the future.
@cbuffet: please try one of the latest windows beta builds and let me know if the problem persists.
Hi,
thank you for the return. The only way I find to associate the session is with xpra-launcher.exe (C:\Program Files\Xpra\Xpra-Launcher.exe). But there is a bug. The open / close icons aren't ok and it's not working. The window is full transparent. No image return. When I open the xpra.exe (C:\Program Files\Xpra\Xpra.exe) and get to the connect menu, it's ok but I don't know how to associate a session file with this program to avoid the sequence xpra.exe > connect > load session...
Regards, Christophe Buffet
The only way I find to associate the session is with xpra-launcher.exe
Correct. The launcher is the only command that understands session files.
The window is full transparent. No image return.
The transparency bug is likely to have been fixed in 3.0.3. Please specify which version you are using, as I already asked in comment:1.
If that still does not work, please try the 4.0 beta builds (https://xpra.org/beta/windows).
The latest beta builds also fix the missing window title bar icons.
Not heard anything back, so closing.
