There is some "flickering" happening on shadow functionality.
Please check the video
$ xpra version xpra for python 2.7 is not installed retrying with python3 v3.0.2-r24387 $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS Release: 16.04
client
Xpra GTK3 client version 4.0-r24512 64-bit running on Microsoft Windows 10
It is not an issue of this version per se, and the issue is more apparent in the login screen rather than in normal screens.
It "feels" like it got excaggerated vs Xpra-Python2-x86_64_3.0.1-r24232
, but it is not work-impeding
I see two different pictures and some flickering, but it's not clear which picture is actually meant to be shown (desktop background?), or where the other one is from.
How do I reproduce? Just shadow the server? Something like this?:
xpra_cmd.exe shadow ssh://ubuntuuser@ubuntu1604/
Do I need to have a screensaver running? Do I click somewhere?
Ubuntu is configured with changing-over-time backgrounds (Settings -> Appearance -> Select Image-with-clock, no external machinery there)
I execute with:
xpra_cmd.exe shadow ssh://user@ip/--opengl=no --desktop-scaling=0.75 --min-speed=70 --webcam=no --speaker=off --microphone=off --pulseaudio=no --exit-with-client=no
I have connected to the server when it was screen-off-by-inactivity. No screensaver or sleep-by-inactivity configured.
All I did was to simply move the mouse to wake up the screens.
No idea where to look for this one.
