Java Client

The (unsupported) Java client has backends for:

• AWT: xpra.awt
• Swing: xpra.swing
• GTK-Java (​java-gnome): xpra.gtk

In all cases, only "jpeg" and "png" encodings are supported at present.

The core code is also used by the Android client.

Note: this code is well out of date and no longer supported. It was removed from the tree as of version 2.2 You can find other clients, ie: ​https://github.com/jksiezni/xpra-client (status unknown).

Future Work

• detect lost connection better
• handle mouse wheel
• fix window decoration offsets
• re-draw problems?
• handle video encodings:
  • ​h264j (h264)
  • ​jcodec (h264, vp8 and many more)
